Prerequisite Courses

ANM Nursing

Depending on the program, applicants may be required to have completed specific prerequisite courses in subjects such as Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, English, Arts, and Commerce.

• Minimum Age: 17 to 35 years as of October of the year of admission.
• Educational Qualification: 10+2 pass in any stream.
• Selection Process: Admission will be granted on a merit basis.
• Examination Board/University: Aryabhatta Knowledge University (Govt. of Bihar), Patna.
• Duration: 2 Years.

GNM Nursing

• Minimum Age: 17 to 35 years as of October of the year of admission.
• Educational Qualification: 10+2 pass in any stream.
• Selection Process: Admission will be granted on a merit basis.
• Examination Board/University: Aryabhatta Knowledge University (Govt. of Bihar), Patna.
• Duration: 3 Years.

B.Sc Nursing

Candidates should review the Bihar B.Sc Nursing eligibility criteria before filling out the application form:

• Minimum Age: Applicants must be at least 17 years old. Candidates born after December 30, 2004, are not eligible.
• Educational Qualification: 10+2 pass from any recognized board.
• Minimum Marks: A minimum of 45% in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as compulsory subjects.
• Qualifying Examination: Candidates should have completed their higher education (10+2) with a Science background, including Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as compulsory subjects.
• State of Domicile: Candidates from Bihar must provide a domicile certificate issued by the State Government.

Domicile Criteria

• The candidate's parents must be permanent residents of Bihar.
• Parents must be registered refugees in Bihar.
• Parents must be employees of the Bihar state government.
• Parents must be central government or public sector employees stationed in Bihar.
